During these cold winter months we are dreaming of spring and beginning to plan the 69th annual Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage! This unique event is the longest running of its kind in the country and it is also among the largest in terms of attendance, leaders, and programs offered. Last year we provided pilgrims with 167 different programs and this year we plan to offer even more! A variety of new hikes will be included in this year's event that will feature unique organisms such as fluorescent lichens! We hope you are excited as we are to start the spring off exploring the astounding biodiversity that our Great Smoky Mountains has to offer!
Pilgrimage leaders: Registration is now open. Please help us by registering as early as possible so we can begin to create a program that works with everyone's schedules! For more information on leading hikes and to register click here.
