Inclement Weather Policy

Please note that we have never cancelled, nor will we cancel events, based on weather (unless we are faced with very extreme weather events).  Because of the lack of connectivity and therefore ability to communicate across all pilgrims, the leaders will always be at their respective meeting places. Leaders and pilgrims may communicate at the meeting locations and use their judgement to potentially modify the departure time (e.g., delaying an hour or so), hike distance, or even location of their events (e.g., from a ridge to lower elevations to avoid lightening).  Due to the immense logistics required to run the Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage, we cannot reschedule events missed because of weather.

We will always communicate primarily through email and this website. These are our primary means of communicating all information. Secondarily, we may also push information via social media, but these are secondary in order of operations.
